She looks like something straight out of the 80s on this one.

I like how the colours feel quite harmonic on this one, it all just matches and doesn't get over-saturated. That said, I liked her white jacket, but I think I would have liked to see it in a different colour (but maybe it wouldn't be so harmonic).

Maybe it's just my personal bias against white jackets? (Probably).

MLeth responds:

Thank you! Yeah I wanted a simple white color for the jacket right off the bad so I adapted the rest of the colors to work with that!

Nice, I like the colour pallet (nice touch leaving the colours there btw). This character has an interesting design, but I really think that his torch should be on the left hand, so he could light the bomb more easily (that's why it's there, right?)

Hyptosis responds:

Right! I imagined him doing it across his chest while his shield was up, but that works too!

Wow, this thing made me a bit nostalgic, to be honest.

I haven't been too much of a madness fan recently, guess I just don't like as much as I used to. But looking at this brought me some memories, made me remember how I used to like and how fun it was to watch all of this movies. I don't know why this happened, but when I saw it yesterday it made my Madness Day actually Madness.

Thanks, dude.

ChazDude responds:

I'm humbled :3

Interesting to know that you felt inspiration to draw her because of her hair, 'cus it was the first thing I noticed!

Some really strong lines here, and I like it, it makes an interesting break with the watercolor (which is smooth and fluid). And talking about that, nice touch with the watercolor, made the oainting look really water-ish.

TashaaNicole responds:

Ah thank you so much Xuvero!! It can be hit or miss for me when it comes to translating something from real life to my "style" cause I don't really draw realistically so I'm glad my iinspiration came across :D

This is so well made and realistic! I didn't watch the movie but he looks real, I don't think there's any negative to point out here, not that I can see.

Too bad I can only give you 5, this amount of effort needed more then just that!

MiddleFingerRings responds:

Thanks a lot! Very kind of you.

This looks pretty nice, I like the colours, it makes it look pretty cold.

I think you could have added a moon in the sky, it would have matched quite nicely with the wolf.

And talking about the wolf, it looks a bit... Round, soft, you know what I mean? Wolfs tend to look more rough, but it looks like you were going for that style.

But something that really could be improved is the head, it is a bit too small overall, and way too small if you consider the amount of extra fur that he was supposed to have. And building up on that, it is always nice to try to make any "snow" animal look like it has a huge amount of fur.

RoseredTiger responds:

True, and, had I taken a bit more time to plan out the painting, I may well have done some of those things, tho since it was just a free request I just made up stuff as I drew. The snow for example was a late addition, and I drew the wolf without cold in mind. Still I'll keep it in mind for the next time I draw a wolf or so

This is nice, looks like it came out straight out of a Star Wars movie. Seems like an interesting concept, any chance of it turning into more then just this illustration?

Cthulhuzann responds:

Very kind of you. It's based off a lesser known tv series called "Firefly."

This is beatiful, so much detail. I definitely will need to visit this a few more times to look at it for longer, it really fills the eye. I also liked a lot how you made the hippie guy have his head broken (I forgot his name lol).

But I think your colours are a bit too cool, when I watched this video I had the feeling of heat and draught, but I don't really have this feeling looking at this. Besides that, I think this is perfect!

ScepterDPinoy responds:

I'm not sure if I will make a heat filter in the future for some pixel mockup. Thank you for the suggestions.

When I look at this, the first thing I notice is the brush style, makes me wonder is this is hand painted. This piece looks really sleepy, due to the colours and the shading. It's interesting that even though I can't see the rest of the room it seems to be empty, makes it look as if he just found an empty room to rest a little, it sure looks like a slow and sleepy afternoon.

shibasquish responds:

wowow thank you for such detailed feedback! I had a really vague idea of what I wanted to draw but I was thinking of really drowsy school lessons for the most of it. I'm glad the colors speak to you, I've been trying to make my choices more interesting so hearing that they convey a mood means alot!

This piece has some good stuff, others that could be better. The brush style is nice, and the shading is well done (even though there are some shaed parts that shouldn't be). But there are some problems with anatomy and proportion: the ears and nose are a bit too smal compared to the rest of the face, and also his head seems to be too small compared to the rest of the body, his leg is kind of bad, it's really anatomic incorrect.

Also, you should try making the wolf more threatening, that would make him look more wolf-like, or else it looks to dog-like.

nikk5i responds:

Thanks for your feedback and advice :) It helps me a lot to improve my drawings in the future.
