Well, this was funny, a bit weird in some parts, but funny.

This is a nice concept with some good jokes. Maybe you could consider making shorter videos instead of long ones like this, they could be funnier for delivering a quicker punchline and not letting the joke get dull. Also, you may consider improving the visual quality, like background, characters and animation, I don't know if you were actually going for this style, but it looks unfinshed.

Overall, I liked it, it has the best representation of WWII.

TGTNTV responds:

Thanks for watching, and I appreciate the review! We do intend on releasing shorter videos for this series as well. A lot of the animation was intentionally crude, we personally find sloppy animation funny, but hopefully it wasn't crude enough to distract you from the story. Glad you caught many of the references. Take care! -Tony

Well, this concept is not the most original, not anymore. This would probably have been super popular during the earlier days of Newgrounds, but I don't know today.

The animation is well made, the choice of sound could have been better in my opinion, some got repetitive and others are over-used, audiobank stuff. Now I would like to point out that there is a good amount of the animation that simply doesn't contribute to story progression in any way, and that is something that should be avoided in every work driven by a plot. It makes it longer and dull to watch, and it's also more unecessary work for you.

Now, about the story per se. Well, like I said, it takes some time to get to the point. And with time, all of this "cute things suffering" gets overdone, there's too much of it and it stops being interesting after a while. Also, I had the sensation that it was a bit shallow due to the fact that all of this violence had no point at all, actually, it was the point, the whole story progressed to a bunch of little cute things suffering. You may notice that everything that offers ultra-violence does it with a purpose, there's an excuse for all that blood and gore, even if it is a bad one (take a look at Happy Tree Friends, South Park). But like I said, this would have been golden on the earlier days of NG, free violence was popular here back then (see Madness), but now? Not anymore.

Ew, Bright!

This is a nice one, if I were to define it I would say: "Less is more!". I've seen many people that tried to explore the concept of "ulgy" in a different manner. But this here is simple, it's just sexy people doing something ugly.

I loved the music, it was pretty catchy and it paced a good rhythm into the animation. The VCR-ish effect that goes all along is pretty neat too.

I liked the way you explored a masculine and feminine sexy, which is something that I felt was missing in other animations, I also liked the sudden way you broke their sexy with something ugly.

The ugly part was indeed ugly, and pretty straightforward. It was clear, not an abstract idea of what ugly is.

BrandyBuizel responds:

Thanks a bunch I put a lot of thought into the visual aesthetic and honestly I just really wanted to make some ugly facial expressions cause it's fuuuuun ^.^

This is a pile of twists and weird things. It was funny a bit, but I feel like the theme of the jam wasn't so well explored, but well, it's incomplete.

The choice of ugly was good, but I think they could have been more visualy ugly, such as making a scene with the guy actually putting "poop" on his lips, that'd be real ugly.

But I think the sexy was nice enough, the characters were well made, and I imagine that in a complete version they would be quite more "sexy".

I think you should try making a complete version of this.

I don't know if I would be able to resist the temptation of buying a car that costs only 100 bucks, seems like a good investment. And after that he even sold it for more, that's bizness my friends.

I had quite a laugh wih this one, seems like you did as well, on the "All of a suden your ass goes tumbling down the highway!" part I could heard a bit of a giggle in the frase.

Nice one.

The animation and art style is pretty smooth, some very interesting colours, they really helped to highlight the sexy of it. I like this this jams because people always tend to think outside of the box and explore the concept a bt more differently.

As for the sexy part, that was very well done, since the begining the main character was pretty atractive and you explored that well. But usualy when the theme "sexy" arises, I tend to wish people would explore that beyond the "female sexy", and I think you could have done that, there were men, but you didn't really seem to have explored their "sexy".

As for the ugly part, that was explored in an interesting way, you took the concept of ugly beyond the visual. I liked that, but I had the feeling that the "ugly" part was a bit too localized, there were spots of "ugly", moments in which it had happened, but on the most part there wasn't.

Overall, analyzing the idea of "Sexy People Doing Ulgy Things", I think it was explored in an interesting way but got a bit unbalanced. There was a constant "sexy" but the "ugly" is localized, which in the end made the animation not able to deliver all it could of the concept. With that aside it is a great animation and very nice to watch.

KarlSia responds:

Thanks! Appreciate the input!

Man, my favourites are the ones you tell a story about your childhood, it reminds me of South Park when you start to voice the characters. I laughed so loud at hte strobe part that I think I woke up the person in the next room. By the way, keep the dirty vocabulary in the scripts, it's fucking great!

This is (B)eatiful!
