This is ok, the gameplay is nice, could be improved a bit, to be honest. But those sounds the vampire makes when he get's hit are pretty bad, they don't help to make him actually look like a vampire (unless he is a 9 year old vampire).

"Hell? No! You go to Dog Heaven. Jeez!"

This is very nice, a good looking game with a great narrative.

This looks really good, a very interesting choice of colours, which I liked very much. I loved the way the narrativa has a non-linear style, it has some very nice ideas in it. I personaly loved the heaven part, that cat angel was pretty funny.

It is great as it is, but I have a few suggestions. Firstly, I think you could make Jesse's sprite turn to the left when he walks in that direction, in the last scene it felt a bit awkward to see him walking back. Secondly, and this is more of just an idea, I thought it could be nice to add some music, perhaps something to build the feel for some areas, such as a jazz tune for the club and some harp for the heaven (it could even be in bitune, to match with the game's style).

It was nice, a bit of a situation in which everyone has been at least once. But I had the slight sensation that the end was a bit empty, when I got there I was like "Is that it?". Maybe you could leave more of a conclusion or something to mark that it actually ended.

I've heard this before, and I think I agree. My intention was to have the ending mimic the lack of satisfaction felt by the character, but I think it may have just been confusing in execution. Thanks for the comment and rating!

Well, I got a bit disapointed to be honest. I came here and the game did look pretty good, I had found the art style quite nice, and also the concept. But as I started playing I noticed it isn't as good as it looks.

The gameplay is a bit too easy, all I did was running arround picking things up and watching my enemies die, I didn't really need to try hard, there were just so many pick ups that it didn't take long for me to have the whole fighting area covered by me and the turrets. Perhaps to make it better you could make the enemies harder, or having less pick ups, maybe some melee weapon that would put me in danger in order to use.

Also, it was too monochrome, everything was yellow, and I could say it made it ugly, but that's not the problem with it. The problem with it all being yellow is that is doesn't take much time for the screen to turn into a mess and I can't actually see what is happening. That made the gameplay a bit more boring, as I didn't even try playing, I just ran arround (and even by not trying, it was so easy that I actually didn't loose, I just stoped playing). Besides, the PC looks too much like the enemies, when things get messy the character gets lost in the middle of it. Perhaps you should try investing in different colours and design.

The game was originally made for the Mini Jam 7 - Greek Mythology where the limitation was "only 4 colors". Even if it doesn't excuse the problem.
Thanks a lot for your constructive comment, I learned a lot and will apply these for my future games.

This is a nice game, very well made and pretty. The game is fun enough for me to have spent quite a while playing it, and it's a bit addictive. The music is very nice, I found myself nodding my head to it more then once, but maybe you could add other tracks to it as well, as far as I went there were only two tracks, which got a bit repetitive after a while.

There are somethings which I think need improvement. Firstly, the characters movement feels way too heavy, he seems to drag himself along as if he was carrying a heavy haul. Second, there are too many checkpoints, I didn't really feel like I needed to worry too much about losing because I would simply be brought back not too far from where I lost, even the begining of each room is a checkpoint. And lastly, but maybe most importantly, the challenge is a bit inconsistent, there were parts which were quite hard and others that were way too easy, such as the boss fight, I honestly expected it to be harder.

The sheer amount of checpoints matched with the easy challenge in some parts made the game a bit too casual, more then it needed to be.

And something else to point out, as a side note, I haven't played it all, but the story up until where I've seen seems a bit shallow, I know it's not the main focus of the game, but I think it could be improved.

Overall I enjoyed the game, it was fun and the art style is very nice, but I think it could be harder in some parts.

Thanks. Good points, I will see what I can do to improve them in the next update. But making complex changes in the level designs are quite difficult at this point.

About the boss fights, actually they were harder before. But some people(on some other sites) complained about the difficulty of the boss fights, so I made them easier. Maybe I should find a balance between them.

Wow, I ended up playing this for longer then I expected.

This game is a fun take on the Tetris concept, the way the blocks move gave it a new twist. I was playing it listening to some music and it was pretty relaxing, I had quite a bit of fun during the 30 minutes I played this, even had some laughs.

Some things need atention tho: aparently if you strike a block with enough force it will simply disapear, and the fullscreen doesn't seem to work.

CreativeCogGames responds:

Glad you liked it and thanks for the bug report. Turns out that my framework doesn't support fullscreen in html5 builds so I'm going to remove it.

I think you may have something there, this is kind of fun to play, but it still could get a lot of improvement. Keep on working on this and you'll have something really nice

KabraKarma responds:

Hi, Thanks for your comment !

For now the game is pretty basic (it is my first game so I didn't wanted to do to much), but once the bugs are fixes and everything in order, I will think about improvement in gameplay.

This is nice, I liked it. Perhaps you could add a story to it, maybe some WWII thing, and it could be a little longer, it ends at the peak of the fun.
